September 2nd, 2008 - The Wild Weekend Power Pop Festival was a total blast. The Pointed Sticks were the highlight of Friday night and The Boys were the band to see on Saturday night. Outside of the gig, seeing Ian, Nick, Bill, and Gord was really fun. They are doing great and we were able to catch up on the Vancouver scene, family, etc. I can't wait to see them again - next time with Tony.
The Canadian tour with Doug Andrew & the Circus in Flames is complete and was extremely successful. We did 10 shows in 10 days and had the biggest attendance, ever.
There are 2 upcoming gigs with Myrna Cabello in downtown Austin on September 19th (The Green Mesquite) and September 20th (The Waterloo Ice House). This band is totally cool and I looking forward to future gigs.
